Welcome back!
And to our new teachers – welcome aboard! If you are new to the district,

(vocal division secretary) at henrietta.faciane@stpsb.org to get on the
appropriate email list.
All of the
information you will need about this year’s events can be found on our website,
www.district9.info.
Please be sure to take a look. Also, remember that most entry deadlines are 30
days prior to an event to allow sufficient time for scheduling and processing
all registration information. There is a $50 penalty for late entries.
Thank you to
everyone who has agreed to chair an event or help in some way. To everyone else,
I encourage you to get involved! There are always many small jobs that must be
done to ensure that each event runs smoothly. It takes all of us working
together to provide the quality experiences that we want for our students.
Remember, if you have students attending an audition or rehearsal, you
need to make plans to be there.
I hope you all
have a great year. Despite the scheduling difficulties many are experiencing,
especially at the high school level, it’s your enthusiasm and love of music that
are keeping your programs strong. Congratulations! Again, if I can be of
