Compiled by Pat Deaville, LMEA’s unofficial historian, the Louisiana Musician Retrospective presents LMEA’s history from 1936-2023.
Mr. Deaville served Louisiana music educators as a member of the LMEA Board of Directors for 34 years. He was the District V Representative for 10 years, Chairman of the State Music Professional Development Conference for 25 years, and Editor of the Louisiana Musician for 28 years. Since his retirement in 2020, Pat has continued to serve the Board of Directors as a trusted advisor.
