Early Bird Registration is available to LMEA members through December 5, 2026. To register at the member price, you will need your LMEA membership number and expiration date.

Deadline for Submission: All proposals must be submitted by midnight July 31, 2026.
Acceptance Notification: by October 15, 2026.
Bio and Headshot: Your bio and headshot, along with those of any co-presenter(s), must be submitted with your proposal.
Conference Policies:
- Sessions are scheduled according to the subject area chosen on the form.
- If a proposal is accepted, it could be scheduled on any day and time during the conference.
- All presenters and co-presenters must register for the conference prior to the registration deadline.
- LMEA does not reimbursement expenses incurred by either presenters or co-presenters.

Deadline for Submission: September 11, 2026.
Graduate students, music educators, and researchers are invited to submit proposals for the Research Poster Session at the 2027 LMEA Professional Development Conference. The committee welcomes research studies exemplifying qualitative, quantitative, philosophical, or historical methodologies. Submissions of “Graduate Research” and “Action Research” completed by music educators within their classrooms or rehearsal halls are also highly encouraged.
