All concerts will be in one of the ballrooms at the Hilton Riverside New Orleans. The public is encouraged to attend and celebrate the amazing talents of these students. The schedule will be posted as soon as it is available.
Registration for all students is $85. Dinners are $40 per dinner INCLUDING tax and gratuity. Students performing on Saturday will pay for two (2) dinners ($80). Students performing on Sunday will pay for three (3) dinners ($120). Note: All students register on Thursday afternoon.
LMEA can take donations toward students’ registration or dinner fees. You can cover all or any portion of these fees. We cannot apply donations toward hotel expenses, breakfast, or lunch.
Yes. All donations must be received by the students’ registration deadline. Registration for all High School ensembles closes on Monday, October 28, 2025 at midnight. Registration for all Middle School ensembles closes on Friday, December 6, 2025 at midnight.
LMEA will notify the parent/guardian and issue a refund for any overpayment in whatever format the payment was received. If it was paid with a credit or debit card, a refund will be issued to that card. If it was paid by school check, a refund check will be issued to the school.
If you are donating to a specific student or school, you can also donate to them directly rather than using LMEA’s online donation portal.
LMEA can take donations in two ways: 1. To donate by credit or debit card, fill out the online form and use LMEA’s online donation portal. 2. To donate by check, fill out the online form and mail a copy of your receipt with your check to Jessica Fain-Blanchard, LMEA President-Elect, 23069 Arcwood Dr., Denham Springs, LA 70726. Be sure to allow enough time to receive the donation by the deadline.
1. Students’ registration deadline is a “hard deadline.” 2. If a student’s registration is not received by the deadline, LMEA may remove the student from an ensemble and offer it to the next person in line. 3. If a student completed their registration by the deadline and anticipated a specific donation amount, but the donation was not received by LMEA, the student’s parent/guardian and their director will be notified by email of the amount that is still owed. High school students will be given until October 31, 2024 to submit the balance due. Middle school students will be given until December 10, 2024 to submit the balance due. Instructions on payment will be included in the email. 4. If the student’s “balance due” is not received by that date, LMEA may remove them from an ensemble and offer it to the next person in line.
Yes, you can donate any amount to a specific student using one of two options: 1. The best option is to donate directly to the student’s parent/guardian or school, allowing the student to pay the full amount when completing the student registration form. 2. Another option is to donate through the LMEA donation portal. Choose the option “Specific Student” and enter the student’s name, school (include city), and ensemble or division.
Ex: Sally White, ABC High School, City of Anytown, band
Yes. Choose the option “Specific Student” and enter each student’s name, school (include city), and ensemble or division (band, choir, strings, etc.). Donations received will be split evenly between all students listed.
Ex: Sally White, Billy Brown, and Kelly Green, ABC High School, City of Anytown, choir
Yes. Submit your donation and it will be equally divided between all students selected to any All-State ensemble from a specific school. Choose the option “Select School(s)” and enter the name of the school and the city.
Important: There are some schools that have the same name as a school in a different city – we must know the school’s correct location.
Ex.: All students from ABC Jr. High School, City of Anytown
Yes. Choose the option “Select School(s)” and enter the name of the school, city, and indicate all students from the specific ensemble you are supporting. The donation will be divided equally between all students who are members of a specific school ensemble and were selected to any All-State ensemble.
Important: There are some schools that have the same name as a school in a different city – we must know the school’s correct location.
Ex.: all string students from ABC Middle School, City of Anytown
Yes. Choose the option “Select School(s)” and enter the name of all schools and the city in which each is located. If you are supporting All-State students who are in a specific ensemble at those schools, you will also need to enter that information. The donation will be divided equally between all students.
Ex.: all choral All-State students at both ABC Middle School, City of Anytown and City High School, City of Newtown and the All-State guitar students at West City High, City of Newtown
DONATING TO STUDENTS BY SPONSORING A SPECIFIC ALL-STATE EVENT
Yes. Under “Specific All-State Ensemble,” select the ensemble to which you would like to donate. Then enter the expense you wish to cover. For example, to cover the cost of one dinner for the All-State Middle School Jazz Ensemble students, select “Middle School Jazz Ensemble” and enter “I want to cover the cost of one dinner for all students.” You would multiply 18 members X $40 = $720 and enter $720 as your donation amount.
We can help. Contact either Jessica Fain-Blanchard, President Elect (jfain@lmeamusic.org) or Scotty Walker, Executive Director (swalker@lmeamusic.org) and they can provide additional information.
